RT. HON. PROMISE REGINALD, THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF OMUMA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA KICK STARTS A TWO DAY OMUMA 7TH LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY RETREAT, TAGGED: “LEGISLATIVE EFFICIENCY AND LEADERSHIP SUCCESS”

A 2 days retreat for Executive and Legislative Arms of Omuma Local Government Area is ongoing in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The Executive Chairman Of Omuma Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Promise Reginald who is also a former leader of Omuma Legislative Assembly, understands the need for Councillors to be properly equipped with the right knowledge to enable them perform credibly and Excellently as legislatures of the LGA.

The Council Boss in his opening remarks expressed on the need for Clarity, Effectiveness and Efficiency for optimal service delivery to the good people of Omuma LGA.
He further admonished them on the importance of teamwork and cooperation between the Executive and the Legislatures.

He encouraged the participants to pay attention to the training and he assured them of his readiness to move Omuma forward.
Together Omuma will be great again, he reaffirmed.

In a separate Speech, the Head of Local Government Administration(HLGA) Mr. Eke Emmanuel charged the Legislatures to take the training serious, at the end of the retreat the Councillors should be well equipped to carry out their legislative duties.
He wished them a successful and productive workshop and proactive Legislative activities.

Speaking on behalf of the Councillors, the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Smart Iroanya thanked the Executive Chairman, for providing a platform for basic and solid legislative knowledge. He assured working in synergy with the Executives to ensure prosperous Omuma Local Government.
