The National Association of Youths In Politics (NAYIP) strongly condemns the recent kidnapping of school teachers alongside students by criminal elements.
This nefarious act is an attack on education, human dignity, and the future of our nation. Schools should remain safe environments for learning and development, not places of fear and insecurity.

NAYIP expresses deep concern over the growing threat posed by kidnappers and other criminal groups who continue to target innocent citizens, particularly teachers and students. Such actions undermine efforts to improve education and create a secure society for young people.

We call on the relevant security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure the immediate and safe rescue of all those abducted. We also urge government at all levels to strengthen security around educational institutions and adopt precautionary measures to prevent future occurrences.

NAYIP stands in solidarity with the affected families, the school community, and all those impacted by this unfortunate incident. We pray for the safe return of the victims and reaffirm our commitment to advocating for a secure environment where every child can learn without fear and every teacher can perform their duties safely.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
