LAGOS, NIGERIA — The Director General of the Nigeria Youth World Council (NYWC), Rotr Ambassador Odika Uzochukwu Nicolas Franklyn, popularly known as Highpriest Nico, is currently leading a high-level strategic alignment dialogue with youth representatives from the South-South and South-East regions of Nigeria.
The meeting, which is presently ongoing, brings together stakeholders and youth coordinators from Edo State, Imo State, and Anambra State as part of preparations toward the nationwide formation and mobilization of Nigerian youths ahead of the forthcoming national elections.
According to the NYWC leadership, the engagement is aimed at strengthening regional collaboration, fostering unity among youth organizations, and building a coordinated structure that will encourage responsible youth participation in Nigeria’s democratic process.
Rotr Ambassador Nicolas Franklyn emphasized the importance of youth inclusion in national development and governance, noting that young people must move from the sidelines to becoming active contributors in shaping the country’s political and socio-economic future.
The Nigeria Youth World Council continues to position itself as a non-partisan platform focused on youth empowerment, leadership development, and national unity. Through strategic dialogues and nationwide consultations, the council seeks to mobilize young Nigerians toward constructive participation in nation-building.
