OFFICIAL PRESS STATEMENT
APPRECIATION, CLARIFICATION & WITHDRAWAL
With a heavy heart, but with faith in the greater good, I wish to make this statement concerning our decision to step down from our previous position and allow the will of the people and our respected leaders to prevail.
This is certainly not an easy decision, and I understand that it may break the hearts of many who supported us, especially Hon. Fred Anagwu, Okeyson Agu, Billion Agu, and the entire team.
However, I want to make one thing absolutely clear: we were not paid off, bought over, or financially compensated to withdraw our position. We have not been “sorted out” in any way.
Our decision was made voluntarily, in good faith, and in the interest of unity, peace, progress, and the collective interest of our people.
Sometimes, leadership requires putting personal interests and expectations aside and allowing the wishes of the people and the direction of our leaders to prevail. This is one of such moments.
I sincerely appreciate:
Youths Party Nigeria – National Body
The National Secretary
Hon. Fred Anagwu – ADC Incoming Senator, Anambra South
Okeyson Agu – Director, Okeyson Motors NG
Zeta Commercial, Abuja
Chairman, Anambra ADC
Nnewi South Chairman – Ijele Utuh
Nnayi Opposition – Excellent Touch
Utuh Youths Wing Chairman – Ugochukwu B.
Royal Family, Utuh
Awaken Youth, Anambra
Agu Ike Osumeyi
And everyone else whose names I may not be able to mention at this moment.
Your support, encouragement, friendship, and confidence in us will never be forgotten.
Although this decision is painful, we believe it is for the better. We therefore choose peace over division, unity over personal interest, and collective progress over individual ambition.
At this time, my team and I are stepping down and shifting our full support toward Anambra South in the direction that the people and our leaders have chosen.
We remain committed to the progress of our people and will continue to support initiatives that promote peace, unity, development, and the empowerment of our youths.
This is not a defeat.
It is a sacrifice for unity.
It is a decision made in good faith.
And above all, we believe in the will of the people.
Thank you all for your understanding and continued support.
Signed:
